The Noble House of del Acqs Residing within the Palatine Duchy of Caledonia in the Micro-Nation of The Sovereign Kingdom of Avalon
Hello and welcome! My name is Cireahrhyannon del Acqs, I am Chieftain and High Priestess of The Noble House of del Acqs. I descend from the Royal Dynasty of Ancient Avalon. As a child I found myself drawn to everything Avalonian, from King Arthur and Merlyn to the Lady of the Lake herself. As I grew older I tried to believe I would out-grow such childhood fantasies, but it didn't happen that way and I found myself even more drawn to them. I sought and read all I could find on the topic. Meanwhile, I began to find myself also practicing the "old faith" of my ancestors which came easy and natural to me. It is fairly recent that I came upon my descent through the historical bloodlines from the Royal Dynasty of Ancient Avalon, along with answers to the many questions in my mind that I have begun to find my way back home. I will at this point explain the flag, which belongs to The Noble House of del Acqs. The Red Dragon stands for The Pendraig, the word Loyalty under the red dragon is for all to know and realize loyalty is given first and foremost to the Pendraig, secondly to the chieftain of this House! The White Star with the word Honor under it represents honor and respect to our ancestors, for without them we would not exist today. Lastly the Black Rose and Crescent Moon with the word Home under it represents our destination, Avalon, our ancestral home. Our Familial roots extend back many centuries, through Celtic-Norman ancestry and further back to the ancient Picts themselves. Through learning and research of the old faith, we can once again serve the ancient ones as our ancestors before us had done. The idea that has been taught, that nothing is known of Druidry except that which has been written by people such as Julius Caesar is a misconception. While it can be said that Druids did not write their ways and heritage down, that does not mean it to be lost. Like other ancient peoples of the past, the Druids passed their knowledge on by word of mouth. The Druids served in many positions of importance for their people. They were teachers, doctors, priests and priestess, story-tellers and judges, but perhaps most important of all, they were and are what I call the, "Guardians of the Holy Isle Of Avalon".
